This is traditionally a New Years southern dish. Simple to make and even picky eaters seem to enjoy the dish. I never really measure my ingredients but for the sake of sharing this wonderful easy dish I will do my best… Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked rice |
16 ounces black-eyed peas |
16 ounces bulk sausage |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook rice and black-eyed peas according to directions. 2. Fry sausage. 3. Mix together when every thing is done. 4. Its that easy. Put anything extra that would suit your fancy. |
