Hoosier's Chili
Ingredients:
2 lbs. lean ground beef/turkey
2 medium onions, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 qt. (32 oz.) beef stock
2 cans (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes
3 cups (24 oz.) tomato juice
1 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 cup elbow macaroni
1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans
Directions:
1. Brown beef with onion; drain fat
2. Add celery, green pepper and garlic; cooking until vegetables are tender
3. Add next 5 ingredients (all except macaroni and beans)
4. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 90 minutes
5. Add macaroni and beans
6. Cook another 20 minutes
