Jalapenos can cause some hoopin' and hollerin' after a bite, depending on how many the cook decides to add to the cream cheese and olives. A little different from other roll-ups.Serve as an appetizer with a big bowl of salsa. Ingredients:
2-8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened |
2 small cans of chopped and drained black olives |
several teaspoons of drained, minced jalapenos (jar) |
8 flour burrito size tortillas |
salsa, medium hot |
Directions:
1. In bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, olives, and jalapenos 2. Spread some of this mixture on each of the 8 flour tortillas 3. Wrap or store in a covered container in refrigerator for at least 2 hours, if at all possible 4. Remove from refrigerator 5. Slice each roll-up into 1 inch slices and arrange on tray or platter 6. Set bowl of salsa in the middle |
