This is really tasty and my kids loved this when they were younger Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs carrots, sliced |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 tablespoons butter |
1/3 cup honey |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Steam or boil carrots in salted water for 10-15 minutes until they are tender-crisp and drain. 2. Heat butter, honey and lemon juice in a heavy skillet for about 2 minutes or until hot and bubbly, stirring often. 3. Add carrots; cook uncovered 4-7 minutes or until they are glazed, stirring frequently. |
