Nice twist on regular beer bread. A little sweeter. Ingredients:
11/2c all purpose flour |
11/2c whole wheat flour |
41/2tsp. baking powder |
11/2tsp salt |
1/3c firmly packed brown sugar |
1/4c honey |
1(12oz.)honey wheat beer |
1tbs. honey |
1tbs melted butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 9x5 loaf pan 2. In a large bowl,combine first 5 ingredients until well blended. Add 1/4c honey and beer,stirring well. Dough will be very sticky. Pour into prepared loaf pan. Brush 1 Tbs. honey and melted butter over dough. Bake 50 mins. |
