From Land-O-Lakes cookbook. Country smokehouse flavor and hearty goodness makes this an easy and delicious meal. Ingredients:
1 lb pork tenderloin, sliced |
4 carrots, sliced |
3 celery ribs, sliced |
1 onion, sliced |
1/2 teaspoon ginger |
3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon sage |
3 tablespoons honey |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1 tablespoon liquid smoke |
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced |
Directions:
1. in a 10'inch skillet melt butter until sizzling. 2. add pork and carrots. 3. cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until meat is browned. 4. reduce heat to medium. 5. stir in remaining ingredients. 6. cover and cook stirring occasionally until vegetables are crispy tender. |
