Published by Concord University's Kappa Omi-cron Phi chapter sometime in the 1960s. Donated by Mrs. Dale Thompson from Princeton, WV. Ingredients:
2 eggs |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 dash salt |
1 cup liquid honey |
1 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon grated orange rind |
3 1/2 cups diced rhubarb |
9 inches pie shells, plus extra dough |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F. 2. Mix together all ingredients except rhubarb. 3. Place rhubarb in shell and pour over honey mixture. 4. Use extra dough to make a lattice or top shell. 5. Bake 40 minutes. 6. Allow to cool about 20 minutes before cutting. |
