I found this in a box of old recipes. I haven't tried them yet but I figured I post it so I don't lose it. Ingredients:
2 eggs, beaten |
2 cups buttermilk, divided |
1/2 cup oil |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1/2 cup rolled oats |
1/4 cup wheat germ |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
2 tablespoons honey |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, sift together dry ingredients. 2. combine with eggs, 1 cup of butter milk, oil. beat until smooth. 3. add honey and remaining buttermilk. 4. cook both sides in buttered griddle. |
