Honey Oat Bread For Breadmaker |

I have been trying to find a recipe for soft, tasty bread for my bread machine. My family says I got it right this time! Ingredients:
1 cup cold water |
3/4 cup honey |
1/4 cup apple sauce |
1 tbs. butter, softened |
1 cup white or bread machine flour |
2 cups whole wheat flour |
1 cup quick oats |
1 tbsp. powdered milk |
1 tsp. salt |
2 tbsp. brown sugar |
1 tbsp. active dry yeast |
Directions:
1. add ingredients according to bread maker directions
2. I set mine to whole wheat, 2 lb. loaf, and I have a light, med, dark setting. I chose light and it came out perfect!
3. If you don't have a 2 lb. capacity, you will have to do some math to cut it down a bit.
