Once you've tried this moreish nutty spread, you'll find all sorts of way to use it. Serve the spread on tea-time sandwiches or spread onto scones. Ingredients:
5 ounces walnuts, shelled |
12 ounces honey |
12 ounces thick heavy cream, softly whipped |
Directions:
1. Chop the walnuts finely and then fry them gently in a dry pan until toasted. 2. Combine the toasted nuts, honey and whipped cream and mix gently into a fine paste. 3. Serve the spread on tea-time sandwiches or spread onto scones. |
