We love these cookies. I like to make them for holidays. They are very easy to prepare and the ingredients list is short. (always a plus around the holidays) If you can't find honey nut peanut butter you can sub regular peanut butter but the flavor will not be the same. Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar |
3/4 cup brown sugar |
1 cup roasted honey nut peanut butter |
1/2 cup margarine, softened |
2 eggs |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 1/2 cups chopped honey roasted peanuts |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350. 2. In large bowl, combine sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter and margarine; beat until light and fluffy. 3. Add eggs; blend well. 4. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. 5. Add flour and baking soda; mix well. 6. Stir in peanuts. 7. Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. 8. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes oruntil light golden brown. 9. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. |
