I love asparagus, and the simple addition of honey and sherry vinegar really jazz this dish up. I like to grill big fat asparagus, but you can also broil this dish. Ingredients:
2 pounds asparagus, trimmed |
4 t olive oil |
2 tsp honey |
3 t sherry vinegar or pinot grigio vinegar |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Heat your grill to medium or preheat the broiler 2. Toss the asparagus with 1 T of the olive oil 3. Whisk together the honey, vinegar and remaining olive oil in a small pan over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 4. Grill or broil the asparagus until tender, about 3 minutes each side. 5. Arrange on a serving platter and toss with the sauce. |
