Ingredients:
half a 1-pound loaf frozen white or whole-wheat bread dough, thawed in refrigerator |
honey |
poppy seeds |
Directions:
1. Cut the dough into 8 equal pieces; roll each into a 1-inch ball. Place rolls, seam sides down, on a large parchment-covered baking sheet. Cover with a tea towel, and let rise 2 hours or until doubled in size. Preheat oven to 375°. Combine 1 tablespoon honey and 1 teaspoon water in a small bowl; brush over rolls. Sprinkle rolls evenly with poppy seeds. Bake at 375° for 18 minutes, or until golden brown. |
