A yummy side dish. It goes good with pork dishes. Ingredients:
1 lb carrotts cut on bias |
half of a red onion diced |
3 cloves garlic minced |
1 teaspoon thyme |
1 cup chicken broth or intil carrots are just covered |
1 teaspoon butter |
1 teaspoon honey |
saly and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. melt butter, add onion and salt and pepper cook on med heat 2. when onions are translucent add garlic 3. add carrots, thyme, honey and chicken broth 4. simmer until broth is reduced away and carrots are fork tender 5. serve immedately |
