This is a recipe from Martin Yan. It is an especially tasty appetizer. Ingredients:
2 lbs pork spareribs, par-boiled and cut into 2-inch pieces. |
1 tsp oil |
2 or more cloves of garlic, chopped |
1/4 cup soy sauce |
1/4 cup plum sauce |
1/4 cup chicken broth |
a dash of chili sauce |
2 tbsp honey |
Directions:
1. Heat wok until hot and add 1 tsp oil. 2. Add spareribs, stir fry for about 5 minutes, add garlic and stir fry for another 3 minutes. 3. Add soy sauce, plum sauce and chicken broth, cover to finish cooking (about 5 minutes). 4. When ribs are completely cooked, uncover, and add 2 Tbsp honey, stir fry 1 minute. 5. Add chili sauce and stir fry for 30 seconds. Serve. 6. **Total cooking time should not exceed 15 minutes. |
