Everyone loves this crisp golden fish. Ingredients:
1 egg |
1 tablespoon honey |
1 cup crushed saltine crackers |
1/2 cup flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
4 halibut fillets |
oil (for frying) |
Directions:
1. In shallow bowl, beat egg and honey. 2. In another bowl, mix cracker crumbs, flour, salt, and pepper. 3. Dip fish in egg, then crumbs. 4. In lg skillet heat 1/4 inch oil. 5. Fry fish on med-hi heat for 3-4 minutes a side. |
