I had a hard time finding a mild Curry recipe that the whole family would enjoy. Found this in the Legion Ladies Cookbook of 1984 Ingredients:
1 chicken, cut up for frying or 4 -8 chicken breasts |
1/3 cup honey |
1/3 cup butter |
1/4 cup prepared mustard |
4 teaspoons curry powder |
Directions:
1. Melt honey and butter together, mix in mustard and curry(mustard and curry can be adjusted to suit taste). Place chicken pieces in casserole, meaty side down. Pour sauce over meat and bake at 375 degrees F. for 30-40 minutes. Baste often for last 15 to 20 minutes until sauce has thickened. |
