this pie looks so good... the recipe is from the Spirit of Christmas series of books... I love the fact that it has a ton of nuts in it...this makes enough filling for a 10-inch pie Ingredients:
4 large eggs, lightly beaten |
1 cup light corn syrup |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
2 tbsp. butter, melted |
1 tbsp. bourbon |
1 teasp. vanilla |
1/2 teasp. salt |
1 cup chopped pecans |
1 unbaked 10-inch pie crust |
1/4 cup plus 3 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar |
1/4 cup butter |
1/3 cup honey |
2 cups pecan halves |
Directions:
