I got this recipe from The Four Ingredient Cookbook. My kids love these and they are so simple to make. Ingredients:
1 lb carrot (frozen or fresh, peeled and sliced) |
1/4 cup honey |
1/4 cup butter, melted (or margarine) |
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed |
Directions:
1. Cook carrots in small amount of boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes or until crisp-tender. 2. Drain, reserve 1/4 cup of the carrot liquid. 3. Combine reserved carrot liquid, honey, butter and brown sugar. 4. Stir well and pour over carrots. 5. Cook over low heat until heated thoroughly. |
