My husband was raised on sweet cornbread. I, of course, know that sugar in corn bread is just wrong. Honey butter is our compromise. I make cornbread the right way and the honey butter gives it the sweet flavor he expects. Note: time includes 20 minutes chilling Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened |
2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk |
1/4 cup wildflower honey |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. In small food processor or blender whip butter, milk, honey, & cinnamon until fluffy & light. Cover and refrigerate 20 minutes or until serving time. |
