1 pastry for double-crust pie |
5 cups sliced pared apples |
3/4 cup honey |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Fill a pastry lined 9 pie plate with sliced apples, pour over them the 3/4 cup honey and sprinkle with 1 Tsp. 2. each cinnamon and vanilla. 3. Dot with small pieces of the 2 Tbls. 4. butter, cover with slashed top crust. 5. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes or until apples are tender. |
