Honey Apple Glazed Carrots |

A Martha Stewart recipe that is great for the holiday season. Ingredients:
1 tbsp butter |
10 baby carrots |
2/3 cup unsweetened apple juice |
1 tsp. honey |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Peel the carrots and trim the tops. 2. Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. 3. Add carrots to the skillet and saute until the carrots begin to brown slightly, about 8 minutes. 4. Add apple juice and honey and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until carrots are tender and liquid is reduced to glaze, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes. 5. Season to taste with salt and pepper. |
