Honey and Lemon Salad Dressing |

This is good on spinach salads. Recipe source: Bon Appetit (September 1981) Ingredients:
1/2 cup lemon juice |
1/2 cup olive oil |
1 tablespoon honey |
1/4 teaspoon cider vinegar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon white pepper |
1 pinch garlic powder |
1/4 cup green onion, chopped |
1 dash sherry wine |
Directions:
1. Combine lemon juice with olive oil in a small jar and shake well. 2. Combine honey and vinegar in small bowl or cup and stir until honey is dissolved and then add to lemon juice/oil mixture in jar. 3. Add remainder of ingredients (salt - sherry) and shake well (or whisk) to combine. 4. Refrigerate. 5. Shake well before using. |
