This dessert is served at Christmas and Easter. Ingredients:
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar |
1 cup water |
2 cinnamon sticks |
12 ladyfingers |
Directions:
1. Boil sugar, water, and cinnamon together about 10 minutes. 2. Arrange ladyfingers in shallow dish. 3. Pour syrup over and let stand for at least 5 minutes before serving. 4. Serve hot. 5. Makes 4 to 6 servings. |
