This dish goes with anything. It is very easy and is great to take to a potluck. Alot of people I know never tasted hominy, and some even declared they didn't like it until they tried my casserole. Ingredients:
2 cans yellow hominy, drained |
1 small can mushrooms, chopped |
1 jar (8 oz) cheez whiz |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
1-3 pickled jalepenos (to taste), chopped |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients and bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes, until bubbly and lightly browned on top. 2. Note - I have used one small can of chopped, green chiles in place of the jalepeno peppers. This works well for people who cannot eat spicy foods. |
