This is another recipe clipping that Mom collected. I am sure there is one here on Zaar, but I just want to put it here for safe keeping. These are all cut out of magazines and I have no idea which magazine or paper they came from. Some are even newspaper clippings. Ingredients:
1 lb ground meat |
4 ounces mushrooms, drained |
1 egg |
1 1/3 cups onions, chopped |
1/4 cup bread, crumbs |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
2 cups potatoes, cooked and chopped |
3 tablespoons milk |
1/2 lb velvetta cheese, cubed |
1 tablespoon parsley |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Combine meat, mushrooms, egg, onion, bread, and seasonings: mix well. 2. Press meat mixture onto bottom and sides of a 9 pie plate. 3. Bake at 400* for 15 minMash potatoes with milk velvetta cheese, parsley, and salt. 4. Remove meat shell from oven. 5. reduce oven to 350*. 6. Drain meat shell. 7. Fill with potatoe mixture. 8. Return to oven for 10 more minute. |
