I use store bought spaghetti sauce sometime, but it can't compare to your own homemade. This is so much better!! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup chopped green pepper |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
2 (16 ounce) cans tomatoes, chopped |
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 teaspoon oregano |
1 teaspoon basil |
1 teaspoon rosemary |
1/2 teaspoon thyme |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. In dutch oven, cook beef, onion, pepper, and garlic until meat is brown. 2. Drain fat. 3. Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. 4. Reduce to simmer and cook for 30 minutes or to desired consistency. |
