This is an authentic civil war recipe. Ingredients:
2 lbs ground lean pork |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon sage |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
1/4 teaspoon ginger |
1 bay leaf, crumbled |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix pork thoroughly with all ingredients, shape into patties the size of biscuit. Fry in a skillet until nicely browned on each side. Serving size is approximate. |
