Nice flavor from the pistachios. Kind of fun to throw your own patties together. To be sure you have the seasoning to your liking, before you make the patties cook a bit of the meat and taste, adjust your seasoning accordingly. You can also make wee meatballs and serve as an appetizer with a dipping sauce. Ingredients:
1 lb ground pork |
1 teaspoon dried sage |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
3/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 pinch allspice |
1 pinch chili powder |
1 pinch of powdered bay leaf |
1 ounce pistachio nut, chopped |
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients together to form patties. 2. Saute in a skillet until well browned on both sides. Serve. |
