Homemade Qeema - Curried Minced Mutton |

Serving size calculated according to a 3 oz standard serving of meat as recommended by most nutritionists. Ingredients:
500 g minced mutton |
1 medium onion, sliced |
1 medium tomato, chopped |
1 medium green pepper, chopped |
1 cup peas |
1 tbsp garlic paste |
1 tbsp ginger |
6 tbsp oil |
Directions:
1. Lightly fry onion in oil. When translucent, add ginger-gralic paste. About a minute later, add mutton, tomato, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder to taste. 2. Add 1/2 cup water and pressure cook. 3. After about 15 minutes, open pressure cooker, add peas and green peppers. 4. Fry for 10 minutes on medium heat. 5. Season to taste. Serve. |
