Much better than the kind you find at the store. Ingredients:
1/2 cup chopped onion |
2 tablespoons minced garlic |
2 tablespoons oil |
1 cup chopped fresh tomato |
8 ounces tomato sauce |
6 ounces tomato paste |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons oregano |
2 teaspoons basil |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. In lg skillet, saute onion and garlic in oil until tender. 2. Stir in remaining ingredients. 3. Simmer for 30 minutes. 4. Stir occasionally. |
