These delicious homemade onion rings are way better than any you get at a fast food place. Goes great with my Onion Ring Dipping Sauce. Great as an appetizer or side dish. Ingredients:
2 medium white or yellow onions |
1 tsp. seasoned salt |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
vegetable oil for frying |
Directions:
1. Preheat oil to 360 degrees 2. Slice onions thin into rings and separate rings 3. Spread them out and sprinkle with seasoned salt 4. Put flour in a sealable bag 5. Put onions in the bag in small batches 6. Close the bag tightly and shake until onions are coated with flour 7. Fry the onions in batches for 3 to 4 minutes, until golden and crispy 8. Remove from oil and place on paper towel to drain |
