1 egg |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1/2 cup oil |
1/4 teaspoon pepper, optional |
1 clove garlic, minced, optional |
Directions:
1. Break the egg into a pint wide-mouth mason jar. Add the salt, mustard and lemon juice. Pour oil on top (don't stir). Immerse a stick blender to the bottom of the jar. Hold on bottom and blend 5-6 seconds until the bottom starts to look creamy and whitish. Move blender up and down slowly until emulsified. |
