this is my favorite healthy version of hummus! its low in fat, tastes great, and doesn't need the additive oil that traditional hummus calls for. Ingredients:
16 ounces chickpeas |
3/4 cup nonfat plain yogurt |
1 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper |
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin |
4 cloves garlic |
Directions:
1. simply drain the chickpeas (1 can) and rise. 2. add all of the ingredients into a food processer or blender. 3. eat with veggies or whole grain crackers. 4. enjoy! |
