This is an easy but tasty granola bar that can be crunchy or chewy. Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup margarine |
1/2 tsp vanilla |
1 egg |
1 cup whole wheat flour |
1 tsp cinnamon |
1/2 tsp baking soda |
1/4 tsp salt |
1 cup oats |
1/2 cup wheat germ |
1 1/2 cup raisins |
Directions:
1. Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. 2. Add vanilla and egg. Mix well. 3. Blend in flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. 4. Stir in remaining ingredients. 5. Press firmly into the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. |
