We can't imagine buying this drink necessity—it's so easy to make at home. Ingredients:
1/2 cup plain pomegranate juice (such as pom wonderful) |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Bring pomegranate juice and sugar to a boil in a 1 1/2-quart heavy saucepan over moderate heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved, then simmer until reduced to about 1/2 cup, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice. Cool to room temperature. 2. Cook' note: Syrup keeps, covered and chilled, 1 month. |
