OH FIDDLE FADDLE !!! That is what the boxed brand of caramel popcorn is called here. I call it mighty tasty. Ingredients:
2 cups brown sugar |
1 cup margarine |
1/2 cup white corn syrup |
1 teaspoon butter flavoring |
1 teaspoon maple flavoring |
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
7 quarts popped corn |
2 cups mixed nuts |
Directions:
1. In saucepan, combine brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup, and salt. 2. Boil for 6 minutes, stirring constantly. 3. Add flavorings, cream of tartar, and soda. 4. Pour over popped corn and nuts, mixing thoroughly. 5. Bake in 200 degrees oven for one hour. |
