Makes about 2 cups Ingredients:
leftover day old bread cut into 1 in cubes (2 cups) |
1 1/2tbs evoo |
1 1/2 tbs chopped fresh herbs or 1 1/2 tsp dried |
1/4 tsp corase salt |
1/4 tsp pepper |
2 minced garlic cloves |
Directions:
1. Toss the bread with the EVOO 2. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and sprinkle seasonings over cubes and gentle stir. 3. Bake the cubes in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet for 5-8 mins until ightly browned, stirring occasionally. Can also be cooked on the stove top in a nonstick pan over med high heat for 5-8 mins until lightly browned stirring frequently. Store in an airtight container |
