Homemade Condensed Milk 1 [fresh Milk] |

Using fresh milk is as easy as using a dried milk base. This is not an overly sweet condensed milk. Ingredients:
6 cups milk, whole, skim, nofat |
5 tablespoons sugar |
Directions:
1. In heavy saucepan pour milk and bring to a boil. 2. Reduce to a simmer and cook for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Stir in sugar and continue simmering 10 to 15 minutes, or until milk has reduced to 3 cups. 4. Strain. 5. Milk can be refrigerated for up to one week. |
