Savoury and spicy chorizo made with pork, garlic, vinegar and dried chillies. This is a cheat's chorizo, as there's no need for casings. I just think everything tastes better when it's homemade - try it and see! Ingredients:
1 garlic clove |
3 teaspoons dried oregano |
100 ml cider vinegar |
4 tablespoons chili flakes |
100 ml water |
1 1/4 kg ground pork |
Directions:
1. In a blender, combine garlic, oregano, vinegar, crushed chillies and water. Blend until smooth. 2. Place minced pork in a bowl and cover with the marinade; cover bowl and refrigerate 8 hours or all day. Refrigerate or freeze for future use. |
