This is the easiest ice cream ever! I got this is Chatelaine Magazine(July 205). There are only a few ingredients, but it is delicious- a great recipe to try with kids! Ingredients:
500 ml whipping cream |
1 cup chocolate syrup |
chocolate wafer cookie |
mint extract (optional) |
Directions:
1. Pour whipping cream, and chocolate syrup into a bowl and mix until soft peaks form when beater is lifted (takes a few minutes.
2. Line a loaf pan with plastic wrap, overlapping on sides (this makes removing the ice cream easier). Pour half of the mixture into the pan, smooth out a bit, then add cookie wafers, mint extract (if using). Add rest of cream mixture on top, smooth out. Freeze overnight. Enjoy!
