This Chili is a recipe that I came up with when I couln't find a Chili recipe that I liked. Hope you enjoy it! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 large onion (chopped) |
2 (14 ounce) cans diced tomatoes |
1 (15 1/2 ounce) can kidney beans (rinsed and drained) |
1 (15 1/2 ounce) can black beans (rinsed and drained) |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
1 (7 ounce) can green chilies |
1 (26 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 cup water |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
11 g chili powder |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1 teaspoon italian seasoning |
Directions:
1. Chop onion fine and in a large pot saute with the Oil. 2. Wait until the onion is starting to turn clear then add the hamburg. 3. Stir the hamburg and oinions until hamburg is browned. 4. While cooking the hamburger add salt, garlic powder, chili powder, italian seasoning, paprika, and brown sugar. 5. After hamburg is brown add the other ingrdients stirring each into the pot before the next. 6. Bring to a boil then turn heat to low and simmer for 2 hours. 7. Stir often so it doesn't burn on the bottom. 8. Serve with shredded cheese and/or sour cream on top. |
