Chicken noodle soup with clear broth, vegetables, and fettuccine noodles Ingredients:
2 pounds chicken breast |
1 teaspoon sage |
1 teaspoon thyme |
16 cups water |
6 teaspoons chicken bouillon |
6 teaspoons bouillon |
16 ounces carrots, chopped |
1 large onion, diced |
8 ounces celery, chopped |
16 ounces egg noodles, cooked |
Directions:
1. Chop onions, carrots, and celery into bite-size pieces. 2. Put 16 cups water, bouillon, sage, and thyme in stock pot. 3. Chop chicken in bite-size pieces, place in stock pot. 4. Boil until chicken is almost done, then add vegetables. 5. Cook until chicken and vegetables are done, increase heat to rolling boil, then add noodles. 6. Cook until noodles are done. |
