Simple standard BBQ for chicken, Pork, ribs etc. After you make it it can be tweaked. We like it just as is. The taste we like best is using red wine vinegar, white sugar, and yellow mustard. Ingredients:
1/4 cup vinegar |
1/4 cup margarine |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 tablespoon prepared mustard |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1/2 cup water |
1 lemon |
1 onion |
1/2 cup catsup |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 1/2 teaspoons liquid smoke |
Directions:
1. Place first 8 ingredients in a medium sauce pan. 2. Cut 1 thick slice of Lemon and 1 thick slice of Onion and add to the pan. 3. Simmer first 10 ingredients uncovered for 20 minutes. 4. Add last 3 ingredients. 5. Bring to a boil. 6. Cool. 7. Store in refrigerator. |
