homemeade chicken noodle soup in crockpot set it and forget it. Ingredients:
16 oz skinless split breast |
4 cups noodles, egg |
16 1/2 oz carrots |
4 medium potatoes, peeled, diced |
2 cups swanson chicken broth |
2 cups water |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt |
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt |
1/4 teaspoon celery salt |
Directions:
1. Cut chicken breast into small pieces (diced or shredded) 2. Combine all ingredients EXCEPT the egg noodles in crockpot. 3. Cook on medium heat for 8 hours or untill chicken is compleatly white and no longer pink. 4. About a half hour before serving boil egg noodles in large sauce pan and add to soup mixture. 5. serve. 6. note: the longer the cooked egg noodles are in the soup the less broth you will have in your soup and it becomes more like a stew. but it is still good. |
