Home Made Seekh Kebabs. Yum with Nan or on its own. Ingredients:
1 kilo mince meat |
3 tbl spns mint sauce/paste |
finely chopped coriander |
1 tea spn dryed methi leaves (fenugreek leaves) |
1/2 tea spn mustard powder |
1 tea spn salt |
1/2 tea spn garam masala mix |
1/2 cup plain flour |
1 onion minced |
4 green chillies finely chopped |
1/4 tea spn paprika |
1 tbl spn lemon juice |
you will need iron rods or bamboo skrewers/sticks |
Directions:
1. 1. Mix all ingredients with mince meat. 2. 2. Make into egg sized balls. approx 12/14 3. 3.wet rod/sticks 4. 4. Make into long thin sasuges around the sticks/rods leaving 1 to 2 cms at both ends. 5. 5. Place in grill/BBQ for about 6 mins each side on high gas mark. Until dark golden brown. 6. P.S. If you have problems with seekhs not staying on the rods then add some more flour, about 2 tbl spns. 7. Serve hot with mint chatni >> 1cup youghurt with 2 tbl spns mint sauce/paste and abit of finely chopped coriander. |
