3 cup(s) bread flour or 2c white 1 c wheat
2-1/4 teaspoon(s) rapid rise yeast or 1 envelope
1-1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
2 tablespoon(s) sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoon(s) olive oil
1 cup(s) hot water > 125 f
Directions:
1. Knead or use a processor:
2. combine flour, sugar, undissolved yeast, and salt; add oil & egg, mix; slowly pour in hot water until dough forms to a ball; cover dough and let stand for 10 min.
3. Roll dough to 12 x 7-inch rectangle. Beginning at short end, roll up tightly; Place, seam side down, in greased 8-1/2 x 4-1/2-inch loaf pan. Cover; let rise in warm, draft-free place until doubled in size, about 45 to 60 minutes. bake 375 for 30 min or until golden brown.
