This sauce was my all time fav. My dad use to make it so that we can dip our artichokes in it. Didn't like artichokes as much with anything else, but with this sauce. I was so amazed on how easy it was to make.
Ingredients:
4 large egg yolks
1 lemon
1/3 cup butter
2 tablespoons milk
Directions:
1. add yolks and lemon use (half lemon or more depending on your preference) i like it lemony and wisk together.
2. add to a double boiler or small pot on medium heat.
3. keep wisking until it get to a thick consistancy.
4. add butter and milk
5. wisk together until you have a thick creamy consistancy.
