These delicate little bars just melt in your mouth. They don't last long at my house! Ingredients:
3/4 lb butter |
1 cup sugar |
2 cups flour, sifted |
1 tablespoon poppy seed |
Directions:
1. Mix butter, sugar, and flour throughly and press into a 9x13-inch pan 1/2-inch thick. 2. Sprinkle with poppy seeds. 3. Bake in a slow oven (250-275°F) until light brown, about an hour. 4. Cut, while still warm, into small bars. |
