Ingredients:
1/2 cup(s) butter or margarine |
1 cup(s) chopped onion |
1 can(s) clear, ready to serve, chicken broth |
2 cup(s) cooked and chopped (small) broccoli |
1 cup(s) cooked wild rice |
1/2 teaspoon(s) dried savory leaves, crushed |
1/2 teaspoon(s) ground nutmeg |
1 package(s) herb seasoned cube stuffing |
1-1/2 cup(s) sliced mushrooms |
Directions:
1. In a 4-quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot butter, cook mushrooms and onion wiht savory and nutmeg until tender. Remove from heat. Add broccoli, stuffing, rice and broth. Toss to mix well. Makes enough stuffing for a 14- to 16-lbs. turkey. |
